An Interview with Mike and Chris

Mike Hartz and Chris Page both started their fitness journey a week before Thanksgiving of last year, which as we all can appreciate, is an incredibly tough time to moderate your “unhealthy food” intake with two awesome food related holidays right around the corner!  Both Mike and Chris were looking for general health and fitness when they joined – and they have increased their work capacity ten fold.  Chris mentioned to me that he enjoys not being out of breath after climbing a set of stairs; and from his starting point, I will call that a success seven days […]

An Interview With Chance

(I hope you know how hard it is not to have an amazingly cheesy pun for the title here)

Chance Fitch  joined GrowStrong at the beginning of the summer after his first year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  His younger brother had been a member and was looking to increase his athletic prowess to help with his wrestling career – but Chance was looking for something different.  At University, he had gained the standard “Freshman 15″…. and some extra (his words, not mine!).  If I recall correctly, his explanation was something to the effect of “well, my […]

Coach’s Corner

So a few days ago I got asked “What kind of music do you like?” and after a quick minute of conversation, including some replies of “no, never heard of ’em”, I concluded that in order for me to answer I would also need to provide listening methods… And here we are!  Included is a few   more questions that I got from Facebook.  I’ve provided answers to the best of my ability with minimal amount of Googling, and have included plenty of self-commentary along the way.  Questions are copy and […]
